The Rt. Rev. John H. Taylor began ministry as seventh bishop of the six-county Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles on Dec. 1, 2017. Before his election, Taylor served as vicar of St. John Chrysostom Church and School in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, beginning in 2004. A lifelong Episcopalian, Taylor was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1954, the son of journalists and formerly served as chief of staff to former President Richard M. Nixon and later as the executive director of the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, Calif. He received a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of California, San Diego, and a master of divinity at the Claremont School of Theology and Bloy House. He is a graduate of Phillips Academy, Andover, Massachusetts. He was ordained a priest in January 2004 and served as curate at the Church of St. Andrew the Apostle in Fullerton. Taylor has written two novels, Patterns of Abuse and Jackson Place, in addition to numerous newspaper and magazine articles and a blog, "The Episconixonian." Taylor married Kathleen Hannigan O'Connor in 2002. He has two daughters, Valerie and Lindsay, and two stepchildren, Daniel and Meaghan.

Previously, Ed worked in private equity at Bain Capital, a global investment firm that partners with management teams to build, transform, and grow great companies. Ed joined Bain Capital in 1998, and prior to his retirement in 2019, he helped build Bain Capital’s private equity businesses in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. He has sourced, executed, overseen, and harvested private equity investments across a broad range of sectors in multiple geographies. Before Bain Capital, Ed was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, a leading international strategy consulting firm. Ed received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and his A.B. from Harvard College, summa cum laude in Computer Science, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year. Ed also serves on the Board of Governors of Otis College of Art and Design. Ed and his wife Marta Han are parents to Ethan and Martin ’29.

Terra Potts, mom to Madeline ’28, is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures where, over the course of her tenure, she has transformed the niche area of targeted and multicultural marketing and publicity into a top studio priority, evolving the department, and her position, into one focused on inclusivity, social impact and innovative, synergistic strategies. During her tenure with the studio, Terra has touched each title, especially impacting the successful campaigns for such recent high-profile features as Just Mercy, the first film to be produced under the studio’s company-wide diversity protocol; IT Chapter Two; and Crazy Rich Asians. In addition to her studio responsibilities, Terra is currently a board member of First Entertainment Credit Union and sits on the Executive Committee for the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts & Sciences and the Advisory Council for Times Up Critical, which is an opt-in database of diverse critics and entertainment reporters. Terra also serves on Campbell Hall’s Board level DEIJ Task Force and the school’s Communications Committee.

Donna Langley is Chairman, Universal Filmed Entertainment Group. She serves on the board for Vital Voices, American Film Institute, Motion Picture Association and USC School of Cinematic Arts. A native of England, Donna was named Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (DBE) for her contributions to film and entertainment in 2019. She is a founding member of Campbell Hall’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Task Force, as well as serving on the Executive and Governance Committees. Donna and her husband Ramin have two sons, Paolo ’27 and Adello ’30.

Canon Bull earned his Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, his Master’s in Philosophy from Boston College, and his Master’s in Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary. He is an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church. Prior to joining Campbell Hall in 2003, Canon Bull served as Head of Trinity Episcopal School in New Orleans and as the Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dean of Students, Chair of the Diversity Committee, and Director of the Senior Humanities Program at Albuquerque Academy. He has served on the Boards of the National Association of Episcopal Schools, the Independent School Association of the Southwest, St. James’ Episcopal School, the Louisiana Children’s Museum, the Steering Committee for the Los Angeles School Heads, the Studio City Neighborhood Council, and has chaired the last two search committees for bishops of Los Angeles. He currently serves as the Chair of the Commission on Schools of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles and is on the Advisory Board of the
Collaborative for Spirituality in Education.

John Pollak ’95 is the EVP of Commercial Development at Universal Television Alternative Studio, the unscripted production arm for NBC Universal. In his current role, Pollak is responsible for all commercial dealings outside of the NBC network including all channels and platforms at NBC Universal as well as external buyers. John attended Campbell Hall for all 13 years before heading to the University of Oregon and Cal State Northridge. John and his wife Rachel have three children, Charlie ’32, Hazel ’33, and Lilah who will soon be a Viking.

Severyn Aszkenazy is the President of Aszkenazy Development Inc, a real estate development firm that specializes in infill development with a focus on community growth. Prior to his current role, Severyn served with the Los Angeles City Fire Department for six years. He went on to hold the title of Director of Construction for L'Ermitage Hotel Group before founding Pueblo Contracting Services, Inc. which was instrumental in historic preservation throughout Los Angeles. Severyn attended Loyola Marymount University. He currently serves as a board member for Family Fire Foundation and is board chair for The San Fernando Valley Boys and Girls Club. He and his wife Martha own the San Fernando Valley Sun Newspaper, which they purchased in 2001. They are the proud parents of Campbell Hall alumni Aaron '06 and Nathan '20.

Kawanna Brown is the Chief Operating Officer of Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE), overseeing the operational and strategic management of the company's diverse portfolio. Buoyed by her 28 years of service and under her leadership, MJE has experienced significant growth and expansion. She is directly credited for being instrumental in growing Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE) to become one of the most prominent African-American-owned and operated brands in the United States. Her vision and creative planning developed partnerships with corporate America to bring quality products and services to underserved urban communities. She also spearheaded the launch of several major initiatives and alliances with companies that were never involved in minority communities but now empower them with significant support.
Before becoming Chief Operating Officer of MJE, Kawanna served as President of the Magic Johnson Foundation (MJF), established to address the needs of the communities it serves. Her passion for educating young people was the inspiration to increase the foundation's purpose with partnerships among nonprofit organizations. She has been an active mentor to teens and college students throughout the country for more than a decade. She is currently President of the Magic Johnson Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of several prominent Boards which include: LA Philharmonic, The Clara Lionel Foundation, Private School Axis, BeyGOOD, and Educating Young Minds. She has received honors from the City of Los Angeles for her philanthropic and community outreach efforts.
Kawanna graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology with a specialization in business. She and her husband Jay are the proud parents to Beau ’29, Madison ’27, and Jay ’20 (a class of ’24 NYU graduate).

Dr. Ted Burnett grew up in Los Angeles and received his dental degree from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1988. In addition to managing a successful private practice, he is the only African American dentist to hold the title of Director and Clinical Instructor with the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the past president of the West Los Angeles Dental Society. Ted currently sits on Campbell Hall’s Finance and Advancement Committees as well as the DEIJ Task Force. Ted and his wife, Denise, are parents to college student Madison ’20.

The Rev. Jenifer Chatfield serves as Rector of St. Edmund's Episcopal Church and Preschool in San Marino. She recently served on the Executive Board of Holy Family Services, an institution of the Diocese of Los Angeles which offers affordable adoption services and foster care opportunities for children and families and has served on the boards for other Episcopal schools in the Los Angeles Diocese. She is currently the Chair of Campbell Hall’s Religious and Community Life Committee. She received her B.A. from UC Irvine in Drama, an M.F.A. from UCLA in Film and Television, an M.Div. from Yale Divinity School, and is also a graduate of Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, and the Institute of Sacred Music at Yale. Jessica is passionate about the transformational power of education. At UCLA Anderson, she served on the admissions committee as Associate Director of Admissions, evaluating and interviewing thousands of applicants for the full-time MBA program. In addition, she managed admissions events around the world, advised on fellowship decisions, and collaborated on strategic projects alongside the school’s senior leadership team.
Currently, Jessica works with the Forte Foundation as the Pre-MBA Coach for their MBA Launch program and consults as a graduate admissions coach. She and her husband David are parents to Aaron ’29 and Averie ’31. At Campbell Hall, she serves on the AAPI Family Alliance and DEIJ committees.

Dena Johnson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BrandHUE, a brand partnership firm representing talent, companies, and brands looking to attract and reach audiences of color. Before launching BrandHUE, she was the Director of Talent Brand Partnerships at United Talent Agency and a Senior Account Executive at NBCUniversal.
Originally from Chicago, Dena is passionate about giving back to the community. Upon moving to Los Angeles, she started a local troop for Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles and served as Troop Leader for four years. At Campbell Hall, she sits on the DEIJ Committee, Family Affinity Leadership Committee, and the advisory board of Black Heritage Families where she was formerly the President. She also served as the Executive Vice President of the Parents’ Association before assuming the current role of President.

Lisa Johnson is the founder of Private School Village (PSV), a first-of-its-kind, parent-led nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of community to positively transform the private school experience for Black and brown families so that students fully thrive. In partnership with more than 55 California private schools and countless families, PSV empowers parent engagement to instill student well-being, works to normalize inclusive and equitable school communities, and encourages lasting systemic and institutional policy and process change that will impact a student's healthy development. Lisa is also a co-creator of the Campbell Hall Elementary Diversity and Inclusion Fund (EDIF), a parent-led and supported financial aid program designed to increase racial diversity in the elementary school. Lisa received her B.A. in Rhetoric and Communications Studies from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of The Westminster Schools, a K-12 independent school in Atlanta, Georgia. She and her husband Andre are parents to Gigi ’27 and Avery ’30.

Jennifer Lechter runs her family office, which has a diverse portfolio of investments in manufacturing, real estate, and finance. She also serves on the board of various private companies in the defense/aerospace industry and financial field. A Los Angeles native, Jennifer has been deeply involved in child-focused philanthropy and education serving on The Support Council of The Rape Foundation since 2006, Harvard-Westlake Parent Association Board, Southern California Regional Advisory Board of U Penn and Stephen S. Wise Temple Board. After graduating from Wharton, Jennifer worked in audit at Price Waterhouse and then investor relations at KCSA. Recently, Jennifer established the Artists’ Future Fund to create a core class for graduating art majors at UC Santa Barbara. Jim Lee is a comic book artist/creator and is currently the Publisher for DC Comics and its Chief Creative Officer. As DC’s Chief Creative Officer, Lee is charged with leading all creative efforts to fully integrate DC’s portfolio of iconic characters (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and more!) across Warnermedia. Lee graduated cum laude with a BA in Psychology from Princeton University and resides in Los Angeles with his wife Carla Lee. After working in commercials for many years, she moved on to music production. While on a U2 tour, she met her husband of 20 years, Arthur Fogel. Kristin has 18 years of national and international sales experience. Most recently, she served as National Sales Manager at Evriholder Products, a housewares consumer goods company. At Evriholder, she was an integral part of the sales team that built the company from a few items, customers and $4 million in sales, into the largest housewares impulse product and impulse program provider in the US. Kristin developed and launched the company’s e-commerce strategy. During her tenure, the company acquired four companies and went through two private equity ownership transfers.
Kristin holds a BA in Political Science, Markets & Management, and Latin American Studies from Duke University. At Duke she was active with the Office of Federal Relations, Peer Tutoring, and Delta Delta Delta. Kristin was the recipient of a Ford Foundation Grant for study and research in Cuba.

Oliver Ressler ’10 has been passionate about Campbell Hall since he stepped foot on campus in 2008. Following CH, he went on to attend Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he was a Hoyas Basketball season ticket holder and avid sports fan. If he wasn’t watching a game, he was usually found playing pickup in the rec center.
Following Georgetown, Oliver began his career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked in both the Financial Institutions and Industrials groups. In 2016, he went on to pursue his entrepreneurial passions, opening and operating ‘The Press Shop’, a fast-casual sandwich shop in Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood. In 2018, he joined Courtside Ventures, an early-stage Venture Capital firm focusing on digital media, gaming, and wellness. Oliver has been a partner at Courtside since 2020, with the firm having raised 3 institutional funds to date.
Oliver serves on the Board of the National Basketball Association’s Atlanta Hawks, a position in which he gets to continually support his basketball obsession. When he isn’t helping evaluate companies or watching NBA League Pass, you can catch him cycling, hooping, or skiing in the winter.

Hal Reynolds is Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Los Angeles Capital Management, a global equity investment firm serving institutional investors in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Hal chairs Campbell Hall’s Finance Committee which works closely with the Chief Financial Officer overseeing the school’s budget and investment portfolios. Hal and Lisa’s daughter, Margaux, is a 10th grader at Campbell Hall and their two adult children, Elle ’13 and Will ’15, also attended the school. Hal and Lisa are involved in a number of community activities in both Los Angeles and Maine. Hal is also a trustee of the College Foundation of the University of Virginia.
