Campbell Hall’s secondary program is inquiry-based and student-centered.
Campbell Hall’s secondary program is inquiry-based and student-centered. Our 75-minute rotating block schedule is designed to allow time for students to engage in research, lecture, discussion, group work, and project-based learning that prioritizes engagement, depth, and quality.
At the core of our secondary curriculum is an appreciation for the fact that students are in the process of developing self-reliance and the power to reason; that they are evolving a pattern of faith for daily living, part of which involves their evolution as decent, loving, and responsible human beings; that they are preparing for further education; and that they are learning to become informed contributors in society.
Our high school curriculum continually evolves to provide a challenging mix of course offerings, for example: Engineering Research Projects, Experiments in Animation, Advanced Stage Design, Television Production II, Contemporary Choreographers’ Lab, AP Chinese Language and Culture, and CHAI Psychology Honors.

Independent Studies (Grade 12)
Examples of independent studies students have engaged in include: The Literary Landscape; The Intersection of Art, Design and Fashion; Structural Mechanics, Nuclear Energy and Technology; Advanced Engineering; Writing & Development of Film: The Jagiellon Dynasty (1385 - 1569); Kinesiology, Data Structure & Algorithms; Anatomie (en français); Computational Linguistics through Text Analytics; Game Design Using Unity; and American Legacies of Race. -
Online Study Programs (Grades 10-12)
Students have taken online courses from Johns Hopkins CTY, BYU, and Stanford Online High School, which have included Multivariable Calculus, German, American Sign Language, Physics Electricity & Magnetism, and Early Childhood Education. -
Honors, College-level, and Online Courses
A wide range of honors courses as well as 24 Campbell Hall Advanced Inquiry and Advanced Placement classes are offered at Campbell Hall.
