How long have you been a teacher? This is my 7th year as a full-time teacher, but before that, I worked as a part-time educator to pay for college.
How long have you been teaching at Campbell Hall? 1st year as a CH teacher
What do you love most about teaching at Campbell Hall? Though I am new to CH, I already really appreciate the support I have received from my students, co-teachers, and administrators. So many people want to see me succeed it is amazing.
What are your hobbies? I love to bake cookies. Chocolate chips are my favorite to make because there is actually a lot that goes into making really good ones. For example, do you use dark chocolate? Milk chocolate? Half and half? All these little decisions are really going to change the final cookie in interesting ways.
I also like to play board games. I have been a fan of chess since I started playing as a kid, and you can find me on chess.com as STRickert. Also, I like more light-hearted games such as Ticket To Ride and cooperative games such as Hanabi.
I also like sports. I like running, softball, basketball, football, ultimate frisbee...really everything! That is one of the great things about being a teacher. I have a lot of time for hobbies, especially in the summer.
