Complete an online application. The non-refundable application fee of $150 must be charged using a credit card. Please submit your application early to secure an interview appointment. Please note: Kindergarten applicants must be five years old by September 1 of the year they enter kindergarten.
Step 2: Schedule an Interview
After you have submitted your application, you will receive an email inviting you to select a date and time for your family interview. Interviews for elementary school applicants and their families will be in person and include a short tour of campus.
The family interview includes the applicant as well as parent(s)/guardian(s) and is typically 45-60 minutes. We strongly recommend that you schedule an interview appointment as soon as possible. Please Note: Applicants reapplying to grades 1-5 who completed an interview during last year's admissions season will not need to interview again this season.
Step 3: Evaluations
Kindergarten
One-to-One Readiness Evaluation: Students applying to kindergarten will also complete a kindergarten readiness evaluation on the day of the family interview.
Kindergarten Mini Day: Kindergarten applicants also participate in a Kindergarten Mini Day, which takes place on specific Saturdays. They will be socializing with other applicants and completing classroom activities in a group setting. After you book your family interview you will receive an email with instructions on how to schedule your child’s K Mini Day.
Grades 1-6
Students applying to grades 1-6 will complete a readiness evaluation in a group setting together with other applicants. The evaluations for grades 1-6 are given on specific Saturdays. After you book your family interview, you will receive an email with additional information about the evaluation.
Step 4: Recommendation Forms
One Administrator Recommendation Form from a current school administrator who is familiar with the applicant is required for all applicants applying to Grades 1-6.
Applying to Kindergarten One confidential Preschool Recommendation Form from the applicant's current preschool is required.
Applying to Grade 1 One confidential Teacher Recommendation Form from the applicant's current teacher is required.
Applying to Grades 2-6 Two confidential Teacher Recommendation Forms from the applicant’s current teachers are required. If the student has one teacher, the second recommendation may be from an academic teacher who has taught the applicant during the past two years. For 6th grade applicants with separate teachers for English and Math, please have each teacher fill out a recommendation form.
The online application will allow for recommendations to be submitted electronically if you provide the recommender's email address. If you are not ready to send the requests to your teachers/administrator, please click defer. This will auto fill the teacher/administrator information with a default placeholder, allowing you to submit the application now and send the requests at a later date. Please note you can return to your portal to add the recommender or print PDF forms from our website.

We request that families submit transcripts that include two prior years of schooling, as well as a current report card. Please send a signed Transcript Release Form to the school or schools from which you will be requesting an official transcript. If your child has not yet completed two full years of school, please provide all report cards that they have received up to this point.
Please Note Campbell Hall does not require or consider ISEE or SSAT scores in the evaluation of applicants.

For families applying for financial aid, more information can be found on our Tuition + Financial Aid section. You may also email the Financial Aid Office for any questions about the process. Please note that families must complete an admissions application in order to be considered for financial aid. Financial aid applications are due on December 18, 2024.

TOEFL Testing
For candidates applying from a country where English is not the primary language, the TOEFL I.B.T. is required with a minimum score of 100. (TOEFL Jr. for applicants to grades 7 and 8 and TOEFL I.B.T. for applicants to grades 9-12). All scores must be submitted by January 17, 2025.
