Baccalaureate Performers’ Rehearsal
Saturday, June 7 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Garver Gym
Students who are performing at Baccalaureate must bring all of their equipment to this mandatory rehearsal. Each performance will be assigned a 20-minute rehearsal slot.
Each graduate can request up to THREE complimentary luncheon tickets: one ticket is for the graduate and two tickets are for the parent(s)/guardian(s). Graduates with separate households or extra guests should purchase additional tickets.
Students will wear steamed graduation gowns (no caps) for the photo and service.
13-year and/or Cum Laude Society pins may be worn on your gown for both Baccalaureate and Graduation.
Students are able to wear any symbolic or celebratory cultural stoles, leis, and other adornments to the Baccalaureate Service ONLY. At graduation, our emphasis will be, as it always has been, on class unity. Therefore, we ask that students NOT wear these or other externally distinguishing items to the graduation ceremony itself.
Attire under your gowns should be appropriate for a religious service.
Students should NOT be chewing gum.
Students should not be carrying items with them such as purses, backpacks, etc.
Gown Care: Graduation gowns are 100% polyester and should NOT be washed or dry cleaned. They may be gently spot washed by hand, only if absolutely necessary. Gowns should be stored on a clothes hanger in a spacious area to release the wrinkles. If necessary, they can be steamed on low heat. Do NOT iron gowns as this may damage them.
Cap Care: Store graduation caps flat, in a dry location, as the mortarboard could take on moisture if it is too humid.
Please Note: Wear gowns only for Baccalaureate service. Leave cap and tassel at home. Clothing under gowns should be appropriate for a religious service. At the conclusion of the service, gowns should be removed and placed on a clothes hanger in your vehicle so they don’t get food stains on them and so you don’t leave them behind. Seniors are responsible for making sure their gowns do not get dirty or damaged.
Baccalaureate service: Email Chaplain Courtney at courtnj@campbellhall.orgbefore June 6 to provide the names of any guest that need reserved accessible seating for the Baccalaureate service.
Luncheon: For the luncheon, be sure to indicate that you require accessible seating for any guests when you purchase Purple Pass luncheon tickets. Questions, email baccalaureate.ch25@gmail.com
