  • Cohort-Model Program

Campbell Scholars is a cohort program in which students experience every step of the process together with other members of their cohort. This ensures that every student is known, loved, and supported by their teachers, mentors, and peers. This unique model builds on research that underscores the importance of strong college-going cultures and peer networks.

  • One-to-One Laptop Program

If students complete the Academic Enrichment Phase in good standing, they are given a laptop for use in the program’s growing suite of online resources and engagement opportunities. Laptops are leveraged in every step of the College Access phase, from standardized test prep to college application submission. They are also important to closing the growing resource gap as computers are increasingly important to academic success in high school.

  • Mentorship

In their admissions interview, almost every applicant struggles to name a single person in their life who has graduated from a selective four-year college. They also struggle to name a single person who is currently enrolled in a selective four-year college. From the first day of the program, our students work most closely with college aged mentors who offer guidance, emotional support, and an inspiring example. Mentors are embedded in cohorts and imbue students with the confidence and esteem to aspire.

  • College Admissions Support

Campbell Scholars are given academic advising throughout high school to keep them in line with the graduation and admissions requirements of selective colleges and universities. The summer before their senior year, students will take part in a 3-week intensive program to go over the entire process and begin work completing applications for admissions, financial aid, and the required personal essays.
