Student Government
Beginning in grade 4, elected student body and class officers work together to serve the needs of their fellow classmates and organize a variety of campus events throughout the year. This program gives students the opportunity to develop their skills as community leaders and work collaboratively to represent the student body.
Middle school Student Council is a group of elected representatives who plan student events, raise money for charity, and make recommendations to the assistant principal and principal regarding student life.
In high school, the Student Council represents the school at events like Secondary Open Houses, where they serve as panelists and tour guides; they organize events like town hall forums and serve as liaisons between the faculty and students. The Student Activities Committee organizes events such as dances, homecoming, and spirit days. Elected student body and class officers, as well as appointed officers, serve one-year terms and meet weekly, learning the fundamentals of parliamentary procedure and leadership techniques as they carry out the responsibilities of their offices.
Mindfulness
Campbell Hall offers mindfulness instruction in elementary through high school to help students learn how to be more connected, present in the moment, and free of anxiety. Based on neurological research, learning mindfulness skills helps reduce stress, strengthen attention, deepen self-awareness, and increase compassion for self and others. Mindfulness programs are also offered to parents, faculty, and staff.
